​Exhaust ducts are key components of a ventilation system, designed to remove and expel air, fumes, or pollutants from an enclosed space to the outside environment. These ducts play a crucial role in maintaining indoor air quality by removing contaminants and regulating temperature.
HOW DO WE DO IT ?
The cleaning of the exhaust duct involves removing grease and residue to prevent fire hazards. The ducts are cleaned using a combination of manual scrubbing and rotary brushing with the LIFA AIR system, which effectively removes all grease buildup from the duct walls. Additionally, the exhaust fan is dismounted and manually cleaned. This cleaning is part of the required annual maintenance for commercial vessels to minimize the fire risk caused by grease accumulation in the ducts.
